MINI wanted to do a complete redesign of their mobile website as the existing site was outdated and needed a revamp. As the mobile site is standalone for touch devices only, we were able to take full advantage of native mobile interactions to create a rich and engaging mobile experience.
LAUNCH SITEThe previous site had very few shots of the cars. I had access to a whole library of high quality photos of all the MINI models and after going through them I decided it would be a shame not to have rich photography throughout the site.
MINI wanted to highlight the cars’ performance and features that most people wouldn’t pick up on. So I focused on key aspects of the cars and added animated elements on the model pages to highlight info about the cars’.

The UX has had a complete overhaul, minimising clicks and utilising gestural behaviour on touch devices to access information.
The final designs lean toward metro design trends while staying true to the MINI brand and its values. You can now scan through the models straight from the homepage and easily see key features and car performance from scanning a models page.
I am available for fulltime, contract and freelance work.
