Branding & Design
I put together the branding and design elements for an arthritis relief app that was in the pipeline. The app was for an existing Pfizer product but needed it's own identity. I took inspiration from the new apps name and concentrated on organic form and movement, while still wanting to keep ties to the Pfizer product. Eventually I narrowed it down to two logos forms which were presented to client and successfully sold in.
These colours were inspired by a parrots feathers and includes a very subtle purple gradient contrasted with a soothing teal. White is added in for key elements of the brand to contrast with the other colours.
I wanted the typography to be clean, modern and strong, but also have the option of multiple font weights should they be needed for the app. I chose the DIN Next font family for this reason, and specifically focused on the Heavy Italic and Light Italic versions for the logo.

The app icon takes the main movement "M" logo mark from one of the logos I put forward. I used Calm Teal instead of the Movement Purple for the icon background as it is brighter and has better contrast on the phone springboard/homepage, making it easier to find and launch.
These are the final logos that were put in front of client and given the thumbs up. There's two versions of both, one version houses the logo in an organic body joint shape while the other is simple and sits on Movement Purple.
I am available for fulltime, contract and freelance work.
