I didn't have Snapchat until working on this campaign, let alone draw in Snapchat. After a quick play around in the app I got my iPad and Stylus out and began creating illustrations to put with the videos shot for the campaign. The hardest part was keeping the line weight as true as possible to the actual Snapchat pen weight and ensuring they looked as realistic as they could.
The first thing to get out was a Facebook post and Tiny trailers lockup. This was a great way to get my head around the right way to tackle the rest of the illustration work.
There were 37 illustrations in total but these 9 were my favourite and worked the best with the videos they went with.
I am available for fulltime, contract and freelance work.
